14 weeks!!!! Second Trimester!!!!

I can't believe that I am officially in my second trimester now!  I have been feeling really good for several weeks now. My energy is back!  It's almost getting to the point where we could find out the sex, but we are waiting til birth!  

As you can see my belly is expanding, and I must say I have been shopping a bit to get some new clothes for my growing belly! It's exciting!

Stenn's Grad. Dinner at Madeo

A few weeks ago Uncle Stenn graduated from USC. Tyler and I were invited to join in on the family dinner at Madeo.  Food was delicious! So fun!

Belly at 11 weeks, 6 days

Baby at 11 weeks 5 days, Measuring at 12 weeks 2 days!!!

Tyler and I got to go see the baby again today! It was so fun!  Baby Wilson was sleeping but we saw the body flinch (I think it was having a  scary dream!) But it was very cute and exciting! The heartbeat was beating strong at 164 beats per minute....They say if the heartbeat is over 150 that it's a girl, but that's just an old wives tale!   

Mother's Day

I spent Mother's Day down in Orange County with my fam. Chase was playing in a tennis tournament down there. We had a very nice dinner at our hotel on Saturday night with the Grant Family. We stayed at the Island Hotel. Early on Sunday, baby and I went and picked up Starbucks for everyone and a special bouquet of flowers from Baby Wilson to Grammy Sandy. She loved it!

After that we went to breakfast at Fashion Island, watched Chase and Michael win doubles in the tournament, I started reading "What to expect When your Expecting," and finished off the day with Wurstküche for dinner.

Very fun! Next Mother's  day I will have a 6 month old little baby! SO fun!

These are a few patterns/colors I am liking for the babies room.

I feel like it would work for a boy or girl.  I know I don't need to worry about it yet, but I'm thinking about having it made!!!

10 weeks, 6 days

Wow time is flying by...almost 11 weeks!

Haven't felt sick in a few weeks, and my energy is starting to come back! Yay!

Just a little bloat looking still, but it usually gets bigger at night!

Hopefully I will pop in a few weeks....wishful thinking!

One of the BEST moments of my Life!!!!

Yesterday morning my mom and I headed over to Beverly Hills for my doctor appt.  Tyler has been working VERY late nights the past few nights, so he needed to stay home to catch up on sleep.  The first thing that they did when I got there was an ultrasound.

The last time I was in they did an ultrasound, but all I could really see was a little blob with a beating heart. And this time, as you can see, I could actually see my little tiny baby!

The moment I saw my baby I got teary, but I was also giggling because the little one was moving it's arms and legs around like crazy! It was the most precious thing I have ever seen, and makes my pregnancy so much more real!  Then they did a close up on the heart beating in the chest and turned up the volume so we could hear the little pitter pattering heart that had a VERY strong and healthy heart beat!  They also said that the baby is a few days ahead of schedule as far as growth...I think that might mean I'm just going to have a big baby...but I already knew that ;)

Then we went and chatted with my doctor for a bit, and I showed her the rash I'm having on my boobs.  She told me I have hives! I think its from the stretch mark cream I have been using. So now I'm taking Claritin and Benadryl, so hopeful the itching will stop soon!!!

I am so excited to continue to see my little one grow.  All day today whenever I get sad or stressed about something, I just think of the image I saw yesterday of my little baby kicking and moving it's arms around, and I instantly get a huge smile on my face....I never want to forget that image!!!!   God is so amazing, and I am so blessed and excited for the gift of life that's kicking inside me!!!!

The Lake Show!

Due to my father driving across America, Tyler and I were able to go to the Laker Game last Monday night!!! It was a great game, Kobe rocked!  ....and yes we have matching jerseys!

Aly's Bachelorette

Last weekend a group of girls went up to Arroyo Grande for the weekend to celebrate our beloved from Aly!!!!

We had a lot of fun, and it was great to get to know all of the other bridesmaids before the wedding.

We played games, went wine tasting, had lots of yummy food, and just relaxed.

I must say though that being the only sober one in a Limo full of girls drinking bubbly with blasting music was a little hard...but it was well worth it, and there were many champagne toasts "to the fetus!!!!"  

Picnic at Griffith Park

Ok so I am very behind on my blogging, but I am determined to catch up on the past few weeks and then stay on top of it!!!

So about 2 weeks ago I packed up a delicious picnic for me and Ty and we headed up to Griffith park. It was a beautiful evening. We enjoyed yummy  food, played a few games of scrabble, and looked at the view of LA. It was a blast!
